History of Tims...
It all started 30 years ago, but we have only just begun!
Once upon a time in a far away country called The United States of America, a little boy was born near Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. The little boy was named Timothy Cee. And although the sun always shined and the surf was high, when Timothy was about 13 years old, his parents decided to move to a quaint little country in northern Europe called Denmark. With a white winter and a green winter! But for them a paradise on earth!

Tim getting ready to open his shop - November 1985
Missing his native country's cusine, Tim decided to open his own little bakery in Copenhagen. He found an old butchers shop in a poor area that had been known to be a little rough, but Tim could see that it had great potentiel and with time the area would change to the better. And he was right!
Even before he opened his shop on Nørrebrogade, Tim had a little stand in a well known department store in Copenhagen called "Anva" - right across from the famous Tivoli Gardens. Here, in the back of the sports department Tim sold his very first Cookies to curiouse passerbys whom could smell that something out of the extraordinary was happening. This pop-up shop was a great succes but had to close after 2 months following complaints from mens clothing on the second floor - all of their suits were starting to smell of vanilla!

Tim on his way up into a bus with freshly baked Cookie samples - 1986
Fianally on January 26th. 1986, Tim opened the doors to his bakery on Nørrebrogade 41 in Copenhagen. And even though he wasn't selling as much as he had hoped for - he didn't lose faith. "If the customers are afraid of coming in the shop, I will go out to the customers!" he thought. Taking some of his freshly baked cookies, he cut them into small samples and with a cookie as a bribe for the bus driver, Tim got on the bus just before his store. As the bus drove by his store Tim walked down the bus offering samples, pointing out his store to the surprized commuters! At the next bus stop, Tim got off and walked back to the store to get more samples, and to wait for the next bus!
